- Product Description: Marks first signature pro model was released in late 1985 on a shape very different from this standard 80's pig shape. Our inspiration to create this is the first ad announcing the release of the deck. The ad pictured his pro model on a pig shape deck. Nobody that i have asked has ever seen a prototype of the classic art on a deck this shape, nor can they remember seeing one. This brings us to this moment asking, What if? What if the first Gonz deck was released on a Pig shape. The original art was by Andy Takajian, mixing zip a tone and linoleum scraps. What was originally designed as a quick work assignment has become one of the most iconic graphics in skateboarding.- Nick
- Attention : You know what makes silk screened boards so rad? They are made by hand. It takes skill and nobody does it better than Screaming Squeegees. One layer at a time, each deck is unique. So please be aware that you may notice a small graphic variance between decks. These are not defects, just a result of the hand screened process. That said, sorry, but we will not consent to any returns unless the graphic is determined to be unacceptable at our discretion. Please take this into consideration prior to ordering any screen-printed boards.
